MEMORY GARDEN Collaborate With MERCYFUL FATE Guitarist On New Demo

February 12, 2003

Stockholm, Sweden's MEMORY GARDEN, featuring former ABSKTRAKT ALGEBRA guitarist Simon Johansson, are in the process of recording three new songs for promotional and shopping purposes. "We are once again working together with [producer] Mike Wead [MERCYFUL FATE, KING DIAMOND] and are really happy with this collaboration," writes Johansson on the band's official web site. "What still remains [for us] to do is for me to record the lead guitars and after that of course the mix. I will take care of the leads tonight and hopefully me and Mike will get the mix done during this week."

The three tracks currently being recorded are as follows:

01. Beggars Anthem
02. Another Night
03. Endless Fears

MEMORY GARDEN's forthcoming album, tentatively titled "Carnage Carnival", will be the group's first since their split with Metal Blade Records early last year. A late 2003 release through an as-yet-undetermined label is expected.
